This blog is maintained by David Cox a freelance Dynamics NAV Contractor, the tutorials are to help other developers understand some of the functions that already exist in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and how to use them, many times I have looked at the code written by other Developers, and often seen code that has replicated a function that already exists, or is limited in the design and will just not work going forward.
Having developed the Dynamics NAV product for many years now, I have focused on the core functions and used the code to create many new modules that fit into the Dynamics NAV workflow, having built many new modules which then use the standard Dynamics NAV functions to post to the ledgers this has maintained the look and feel of the product, giving the user the comfort of not knowing where the standard and new modules interact, so for them it is all one product.
